Meet Us At The ATLIS Annual Conference 2018
(And, bring your laptops. It’s going to get hands-on!)
The Association of Technology Leaders in Independent Schools (ATLIS) will hold its annual gathering of IT and EdTech independent school leaders on April 15-18, 2018, at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Crystal City, Virginia. ATLIS is the only conference focused solely on the independent school technology community, and we are thrilled and honoured to participate this year along with Veracross as Platinum Sponsors. Here is what Team Vidigami has planned:
This year, the theme of ATLIS is Lead with Why. We have 2 sessions planned, and, we’re also excited to announce an independent session on digital displays with Vidigami Pro, Lesley Coe from Cardinal Gibbons High School. Join us and our fellow experts to learn more about effective community engagement, content management, and get an insight of our product:
1 – Pre-conference Workshop (Bootcamp Session)
Community Engagement Success with Vidigami | Tools and Devices Track
Sunday, April 15 2018 | 1 – 4 PM (Alexandria Room)
Team Vidigami will be leading a series of hands-on sessions focused on the importance of engaging your school community with visual content, and how to use the right tools to get your photos, videos and student works centralized, organized, and shared. REGISTER.
2 – Vidigami Conference Session
Keeping Your Visual Content in Check | Tools and Devices Track
Monday, April 16 2018 | 1:30 – 3:15 PM (Manassas Room)
Our CEO, Bill Miles, will be teaming up with legal expert, Stacy Grossman to lead a 2-part presentation on digital content privacy and security. Together, they will highlight key do’s and don’ts and some critical areas of law that schools should be aware of when capturing, using and sharing content. They will also cover how to use the Vidigami system to have better management over how and what is shared within your school community. REGISTER.

Tuesday, April 17 2018 | 10:45 AM (McLean Room)
As Director of Technology at Cardinal Gibbons High School, Lesley Coe has been involved with educational technology for over 10 years. Working closely with administrators, classroom and office educators, as well as students, Lesley fosters collaboration to achieve sound instructional strategies through the integration of current and emerging technologies. In this session, she will be providing a practical workshop on working with digital signage systems using Rise Vision and Vidigami Embedlinks. REGISTER.
ATLIS Photo Portal
This year, we’re excited to launch a Vidigami portal dedicated to ATLIS. That’s right! Throughout the event, all photos and videos from keynote speeches, sessions, and various activities will be captured and made available to all attendees. If you’re participating this year, all you need to do is 3 things:
- Make sure to download the Vidigami mobile app
- Keep an eye out for your Vidigami invitation, so you can activate your account
- Come get a fantastic portrait photo taken by our team at the Vidigami table (22) in the Foyer/Exhibit Area. Not only will you get a free digital copy of your portrait (time for a new Linkedin photo?), but the image will also be used to centralize photos and videos you are a part of during ATLIS, so that you get a personalized feed from the event.
There’s more…Vidigami is all about sourcing great content from your community. We have some great contests lined up to get everyone excited about sharing memories from ATLIS. If you’ve got your smartphone handy (we’re positive you will!), you can participate by just uploading your best content, a selfie, or a big smile for the on-site photography team to win something special.
